On the southern coast of the Mediterranean in the early morning, bulldozers roar at the construction site in Tebessa. Thousands of kilometers away, in the tidal sound of Nicaragua's southern Caribbean coast, the survey pile is being driven into the mudflat at the edge of mangroves; Further east, in the town of Hasimazaud in the heart of the Sahara Desert, the foundations of refining equipment begin to be tied with steel bars; On the grasslands of Central Asia, the location map of wind turbines in West Kazakhstan Oblast has just been finalized in the design studio of China Machinery Sixth Institute. An energy infrastructure network covering Asia, Africa, and Latin America is quietly being woven in SINOMACH's hands.

New power plants light up in North Africa

The Tebessa Gas Turbine Power Station in Algeria is a national key power project contracted by China National Electric Engineering Corporation, and recently signed a design management service contract. The total installed capacity of the project is approximately 1406 megawatts, with two sets of two trailer one combined cycle units planned, equipped with two gas turbines, two waste heat boilers, one steam turbine, and one air-cooled condenser. The system is complex and has strict standards. After completion, it will strengthen the regional power grid and support the heavy burden of both household electricity consumption and industrial upgrading.

The Rise of New Ports in the Caribbean

The Port of Bu in Nicaragua was signed and constructed by CAMCE and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Nigeria, located in the South Caribbean Coast Autonomous Region. The first section will build a multi-functional dock for reliable 50000 ton ships, while the second section will construct concrete roads, bridges, and green transportation facilities. In the future, this will be the first 50000 ton deep-water commercial port on the Atlantic side of Nicaragua, transforming foreign trade logistics from "detours" to "direct" and opening up an outlet for the coastal economic zone.

Desert refineries and grassland fans

CMMEC has signed a contract for the installation and construction of a refinery with an annual output of 5 million tons in the oil town of Hasse Messaoud, located in the southeast of Ouargra Province, Algeria. This contract will tackle the two hard bones of the core public areas of the entire plant, including power, water supply and treatment, and natural gas collection (PKG 2 and PKG 5). Oil no longer only goes underground, but is also locally refined into gasoline and diesel - an additional valve for national energy security and an additional chain for downstream industries.

During the same period, SIPPR won the design of a 150 MW wind power project in West Kazakhstan Oblast, Kazakhstan. The first phase will be 50 MW, the second phase will be 100 MW with 30 MW/60 MW of energy storage. It is expected to be put into operation in 2027 and deliver approximately 150 million kWh of clean electricity annually, covering 6% to 7% of the local annual electricity consumption and filling 30% to 40% of the electricity gap in West Kazakhstan Oblast. The wind comes from the grassland, electricity goes to the city, and carbon neutrality is no longer a goal on the report, but the curvature of wind turbine rotation.keywords:Engineering infrastructure

Four new contracts, four new landmarks. SINOMACH did not speak of the the Belt and Road as a slogan, but nailed power stations, ports, refineries and wind farms into the industrial maps of various countries - electricity is available, ships are coming, oil is refined, wind is blowing, and cooperation is alive.Editor/Yang Meiling
