On the afternoon of September 7, 2026, Vice President Han Zheng met with Sun Zhantuo, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Development Council of Cambodia, who was attending the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Xiamen, Fujian.

Han Zheng stated that not long ago, the Chinese President met with both President Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Ma Nai to draw up a grand blueprint for the construction of an all-weather China Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era. China is willing to work together with Cambodia to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, give full play to the role of the China Cambodia Intergovernmental Coordination Committee, further deepen practical cooperation in various fields, promote trade and investment integration, and promote the continuous development of friendly cooperation between China and Cambodia.

Sun Zhantuo stated that Cambodia and China have a deep friendship, always trusting and supporting each other. Cambodia reaffirms its adherence to the one China principle, and is willing to deepen cooperation with China in such fields as economy and trade, investment, tourism, combating online fraud, and actively work together to build the the Belt and Road for the benefit of the two peoples.Editor/Gong Ziwei
