[Lushan Pumped Storage Power Station successfully completed its first operation] Recently, the first unit (No. 1) of Henan Lushan Pumped Storage Power Station, constructed by China Power Construction, was successfully put into operation for power generation. The power station is located in Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, with a total installed capacity of 1300 megawatts and equipped with four reversible water turbine generators with a single capacity of 325 megawatts. After the full capacity operation of the power station, the annual power generation can reach 1.05 billion kilowatt hours, saving 405000 tons of standard coal and reducing 1.025 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will significantly improve the regional level of new energy consumption.
