[China Finishes 6th Batch Drivers’ Homes Upgrade on Expressways] The Ministry of Transport, in conjunction with the All China Federation of Trade Unions, has completed the construction of the sixth batch of 158 driver's homes in high-speed service areas, providing five free basic services to truck drivers. • [Dongfang Electric Boiler Lights Up at Huaneng Haimen Project]
• Recently, the 5th boiler of the Huaneng Haimen project, developed by DEC, was successfully ignited once. This unit is the first million kilowatt counter combustion tower boiler in China, filling the technological gap in the country. After being put into operation, it will increase its annual electricity output by 8 to 10 billion kilowatt hours and support the construction of an integrated wind solar thermal storage base.
