The 8th FDC Digital Industry Summit kicked off at the newly opened Romania International Convention Center. Egyptian Minister of Industry Hashem and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Hendi and other government and enterprise representatives gathered to engage in in-depth dialogue on artificial intelligence and industrial upgrading, in order to provide guidance for the modernization of Egyptian industry.

The Egyptian Ministry of Industry has established the modernization of industrial technology and the transformation of intelligent manufacturing as important support for the national industrial development strategy, with the goal of building an intelligent, efficient, and secure modern industrial system and achieving independent technological implementation. Minister Hashim pointed out in his speech at the summit that the ability to integrate digital technology with the real economy has become a core indicator for measuring industrial competitiveness and attracting high-quality investment. Egypt will focus on high-quality industrial investment through technology transfer and localization, and promote the combination of attracting investment, technology and intelligence.

Egypt continues to improve its digital infrastructure and special incentive policies, encouraging local enterprises to embrace digital transformation, while emphasizing the coordinated development of digital transformation and network security for small and medium-sized enterprises. It calls for deep collaboration between government, enterprises, and research institutes to drive industrial upgrading through innovation. The summit will hold an industry achievement exhibition at the same time, gathering 60 international and local enterprises to showcase cutting-edge solutions.Editor/Min Jing
