Recently, the key onshore wind power project in Jilin Province - Yifeng (Yitong) 400MW wind power project has officially started construction. The project is located in the eastern mountainous and hilly areas of Erdao Town, Yidan Town, and Yingchengzi Town in Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, Siping City. It is invested and constructed by Yifeng (Yitong) Wind Power Co., Ltd. It is the main new energy power project in Siping area, and after completion, it will significantly enhance the regional green power supply capacity.

The total investment of the project is 2.037 billion yuan, and the funding sources are self raised by the enterprise and bank project financing. It is planned to start construction in September 2026 and be completed and put into operation in August 2028. The total installed capacity of the project is 400MW, with a planned layout of 40 single 10MW large capacity onshore wind turbines. Leveraging local mountain wind resources, a large capacity onshore wind power base will be constructed.

In terms of supporting facilities, the project will simultaneously build a 220kV substation, supporting the construction of on-site collection lines, wind turbine foundations, on-site construction roads, and ecological restoration projects to ensure the synchronous progress of project construction and ecological protection.

After the project is completed and put into operation, clean wind power will be stably transmitted to the regional power grid every year, replacing fossil energy generation, achieving energy conservation and emission reduction, and helping the construction of the western wind and solar power base in Jilin Province and the transformation of energy structure.
