On October 14, 2026, Chen Xiaodong, Director General of the National Agency for International Development Cooperation, met with Chebotari, Minister of Economy of Belarus, who came to China to attend the 10th meeting of the China Belarus Economic and Trade Cooperation Subcommittee and the 16th meeting of the China Belarus Industrial Park Coordination Working Group.

Chen Xiaodong stated that China and Belarus are true friends who trust and support each other, and good partners for common development and prosperity. In recent years, the all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Belarus has continued to deepen, and the cooperation between the two sides in various fields has yielded fruitful results. The two heads of state will meet in Beijing in June 2026 to draw up a new blueprint and point out a new direction for the development of China Belarus relations. The State Council is willing to work with Belarus to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state as strategic guidance, promote cooperation in the field of development between China and Belarus, and better benefit the people of both countries.

Chebotari stated that developing cooperation with China is a priority direction for Belarus. The Belarusian side sincerely thanks the Chinese side for providing valuable support for the long-term economic and social development and improvement of people's livelihoods in Belarus.
