[Tianshan Hejing Tunnel Excavation Starts on Yining-Aksu Railway] Recently, the core project of the Yia Railway, Tianshan Hejing Tunnel, has been under construction. The tunnel has a total length of 18.92 kilometers and is geologically complex, using a combination of TBM and drilling blasting technology. After the completion of the project, the travel time between northern and southern Xinjiang will be reduced to 8 hours, reducing logistics costs, driving industries along the route, and improving the comprehensive transportation network in Xinjiang.
