On June 16, 2020, another high-speed project in Chongqing has started bidding, and the Kaizhou-Liangping Expressway has been included in the work plan of Chongqing’s infrastructure construction improvement strategic action plan (transport action plan). The project funds have been implemented. It is planned to conduct public bidding for the preliminary survey and design of the project.
Kaizhou-Liangping Expressway. The recommended route starts at the end of the auxiliary lane of Zhaojia Junction of G69 Chengkai Expressway on Zhaojia Street in the southern part of Kaizhou District. The line, about 2.1km long, is the original widening and reconstruction of the original expressway. The route ends at the west side of Jindai Town and connects with the G42 Hurong Expressway. Because the G42 longevity to Liangping section has started the original road widening transformation).
The rest of the road is newly built, with the Puli River Valley as the corridor belt, going southwest through Changsha, Nanmen, Yuexi, Wutong to Wanzhou boundary, then through the marbles, Yujia to Liangping boundary, and then Fuping and Hexing , Xingqiao, Ansheng, Renxian to the west of the Golden Belt, connected to the G42 Hurong Expressway; the recommended route length is 95.015km, with a total investment of 13.13 billion yuan, of which construction and installation costs are about 9.22 billion yuan.
Main project scale: 32114 meters/118 bridges, including 1087 meters/1 super bridge; 2290 meters/6 tunnels, all of which are short tunnels; 12 interchanges, including 4 interchanges. The project adopts a design speed of 100 km/h, a roadbed width of 26 meters, and a two-way four-lane expressway standard.
After the highway is opened to traffic, it will drive the economic development of central Yunnan, accelerate the improvement of Yunnan's expressway network, optimize the urban layout, enhance economic and cultural exchanges, and drive the development of resources along the route. Editor/Zhao Jing
