The project is located in Huairen City and Shanyin County of Shuozhou City, with a north-south direction. The starting point is Wangjiabao Village, Maojiazao Town, Huairen City, and it connects with the endpoint of the Datong Transit Project of National Highway 208. The endpoint is located in Xuegui Village, Shanyin County, and it is seamlessly connected with the existing National Highway 208. Passing through Hejiabao Township, Xinjiayuan Township, Jinshatan Town in Huairen City, and Beizhouzhuang Town in Shanyin County, with a total length of 67.667 kilometers.

The construction scale of the project is huge, with a total of 26 bridges (1759 meters in length), 6 interchanges, 6 separated interchanges, and 1 mainline toll station, 1 maintenance work area, and 2 over limit detection stations built along the entire line. In terms of technical standards, the whole line adopts the standard of two-way four lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour, a subgrade width of 25.5 meters, and a vehicle load level of highway - Class I, strictly complying with the requirements of the Technical Standards for Highway Engineering (JTG B01-2014) to ensure safety and durability.
