China Wuyi wins bids for Ethiopia and Kenya highway projects

Recently, China’s Wuyi has been successively awarded the Ethiopian Highway Administration’s successful bidding notice for the first section of the Yasuo-Galesa-Dibet Highway Project, and the Sagana-Marua Highway Project (A2) successful bidding notice issued by the Kenya National Highway Administration The book, the total winning amount is about 1.12 billion yuan.

The first section of the Ezeazo-Galesa-Dibet highway project

The project is the fourth highway project of China’s Wuyi in the Ethiopian market. The project is located in Yasuo Town, Benshangul-Gumaz, Ethiopia. The project has a total length of 100 kilometers and a construction period of 1461 days. The project pavement design is 7 meters of asphalt concrete For pavement, the main engineering quantities include earthwork, drainage engineering, pavement engineering, bridge engineering and road ancillary facilities. The winning bid was nearly 700 million yuan.

Kenya Sagana-Marua Highway Project

The project is located in Nyeri County, Kenya. The project is funded by the African Development Bank (ADB) and the African Common Growth Fund (AGTF). The route includes a 36 km main road, a 7 km branch road, and a 2 km branch road. The main road is designed as a two-way four-lane road. The project construction period is 36 months. The winning bid amounted to approximately US$60 million.

The achievements of Wuyi in China are gratifying, and the future development is also exciting.
