On October 17, 2020, Huaihe Energy Group Panji Power Plant project officially started.

It is understood that the total investment of the first phase of the Panji Power Plant is estimated to be 5.9 billion yuan. It is planned to construct two 660,000 kilowatt units in the first phase. The construction period is 23 months. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2022.

After the project is completed, Huaihe Energy Group’s power equity scale will reach 16.69 million kilowatts, with 23 holding power plants, integrated coal-electric power plants with equal shares, and share-holding power plants, with 65 units. The design performance indicators of the units of the Panji Power Plant project have reached the leading level of the same type of units, with excellent power generation efficiency, standard coal consumption for power generation, plant power consumption, unit water consumption and other indicators; simultaneous construction of environmental protection facilities such as desulfurization and denitrification, soot, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen The emission standard control of pollutants such as oxides is lower than that of natural gas power generation. It is a typical comprehensive utilization of coal resources and a circular economy project in mining areas.
