On the morning of October 20, 2020, the main structure of Pingshan Middle School Station of Metro Line 16 was successfully capped. This is the tenth capped station of the entire line.

Shenzhen Metro Line 16, the line starts at Universiade Station, passes by Universiade New Town, Longgang Central City, and leads from Universiade Station. It is laid along Longgang Avenue, Huangge Road and Longping Road, and passes through Longgang Old Center and then along Shenshan Highway South to Pingshan Station, after passing through the central area of Pingshan, follow Dongzong Road and Jintian Road, and stop at Tianxin Station.

Shenzhen Metro Line 16, with a total length of 29.2 kilometers, is all underground; there are 24 stations, all of which are underground, and 6 A-cars are used. One Tianxin Depot and one Longcheng Park parking lot are set up across the line. The depot junction is Tianxin Station, the parking lot junction is Huangge Station, and a Shuanglong main substation is set up. The total investment of the whole line is about 40 billion yuan. Contact network power supply, the maximum speed is 80km/h.

Up to now, the entire line has completed 100% of the envelope structure, 86% of the earth excavation has been completed, and 66% of the main structure. Metro Line 16 is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2023, when people in Pingshan and Longgang will travel more conveniently. Editor/Peng Xue
