The 8 projects started this time include 2 expressways, 6 water transportation projects, involving 16 counties (districts) along the lines of Shangrao City, Yingtan City, Ji’an City, Ganzhou City, and Yichun Port, Shangrao Port, Ganzhou Port and 5 port areas of 4 major ports including Jiujiang Port. The transportation system of Jiangxi Province will take the three major tackling actions, the three major upgrading projects and the reform and development of water transportation as the starting point, and fully promote the construction of the project in a decisive state.

The two expressway projects are the reconstruction and expansion project of the Ji'an to Nankang section of the Daguang Expressway, and the reconstruction and expansion of the Shangrao East Hub Interchange Project of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway from Liyuan to Dongxiang.
