Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway, referred to as Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway, also known as Hu-E Expressway, is the southern parallel line of Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway. The Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway starts in Shanghai and ends in Wuhan. It passes through Jiangsu Taicang, Changshu, Zhangjiagang, Jiangyin, Changzhou, Jintan, Lishui, Anhui Ma'anshan, Chaohu, Lujiang, Yuexi, Hubei Yingshan, Luotian, Tuanfeng, and ends in Wuhan, Hubei. The Hubei section of the Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway passes through Tuanfeng, Xishui, Luotian, Yingshan and other places in the Dabie Mountains, and is the exit route radiating from Wuhan to the east. The Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway is of great significance to strengthen the transportation link between the central region and the Yangtze River Delta, and promote the revitalization and development of the concentrated contiguous areas of Dabie Mountain.
