In 2019, Almaty Industrial Park has launched 8 new projects. Currently, the five factories that the industrial park is planning to start are undergoing adjustment work. The large-diameter welded steel pipe plant with a planned annual output of 100,000 tons of pipes will soon be put into use, and the startup of the plant will add 304 jobs. In addition, an energy saving project for exterior wall decoration that can provide 80 jobs is also being planned. The Kazakhstan-South Korea joint venture Hyundai Motor Plant is also one of the projects to be launched. The plant plans to produce 45,000 cars per year and provide 700 fixed jobs.
