On November 2, 2021, the China Construction Co., Ltd. led the China Construction First, Third, Fifth and Eighth Bureaus to win the bid for Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 construction general contracting project with a total bid of 5.191 billion yuan. Among them, the CQ27TJ10 bid section of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 (YCK40+524.3~YCK51+102) construction general contracting project was undertaken by China Construction Railway Investment Group Development Company.

Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 starts at Bishan Station and passes through Huxi Station, University Town South Station, Zhaishanping Station, Xiyong Station, Ciqikou Station, Shapingba Station, Shiqiaopu Station, Dapingxi Station, Chongqing Station, and Hou Bao Station, Nanping Station, Guangfu Avenue Station, and the ending point is Chongqing East Station. The total length of the line is 51.829 kilometers, with 14 stations, including one elevated station, which is Bishan Station (implemented by the Bitong Line of the Suburban Railway), and the remaining 13 are all underground stations. Set up Chongqing East Depot and Bishan Parking Lot with a design speed of 140 km/h. The CQ27TJ10 section of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 undertaken by China Construction Railway Investment. The construction scope includes 1 station (Guangfu Avenue Station), which is an open-cut station, and 2 sections (Nanping-Guangfu Avenue, Guangfu Avenue-Chongqing East Station) ), it is a compound TBM method section, a hoisting well structure and other construction contents.

It is reported that Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 is an important urban rail transit line in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Chongqing City. It is the first batch of projects after the official release of the "Planning Outline for the Construction of Two-city Economic Circle in Chengdu-Chongqing Region". The central area, connecting Shapingba Station, Chongqing Station, Chongqing East Station and other important gateway hubs play a key role, which can accelerate the "four networks integration" and improve Chongqing's multi-level rail transit network system.
