At about 14:00 on November 11, 2022, at the construction site of XCSCZQ-1 bid section of Xi'an-Chengdu Railway, the first pile of Xining Chengdu Railway surveyed and designed by the First Railway Research Institute was successfully drilled as the drilling rig was slowly driven into the ground, marking that the bridge construction of this line has officially entered the substantive construction stage.
The Xining Chengdu Railway stretches across Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan provinces. The bridge length of Xining Huangshengguan section is 124 kilometers, and the bridge line ratio of the main line is about 24.86%. The longest bridge in this line is Ruoergai Requ River Bridge located in Sichuan Province, with a length of 8949.60 meters; The highest bridge is Jianzha Yellow River Bridge, which is mainly designed to span the Yellow River. The rail surface is about 80 meters from the riverbed surface and about 50 meters from the normal water surface. The main bridge spans the Yellow River with a main span of 366 meters and a continuous steel truss arch.
