At 5:13 am on May 25, 2026, a beam of light sliced through the morning mist on the track of Shangqiu Station, and the 55432 high-speed comprehensive inspection train wearing detection equipment slowly left the platform. With the yellow and white "Dr. Huang" starting to run the entire line, the Xiongshang section of the Beijing Hong Kong high-speed railway, which has been under construction for several years, has entered the stage of full line connection testing - this is one of the most critical nodes in the high-speed railway joint debugging and testing, which means that this new north-south artery has truly come to life.

Activate the 'Physical Examination' mode
The full line connection test is the core link of the pre opening joint debugging and testing of high-speed rail. During the trial period, the railway department will conduct cross section comprehensive verification of various systems such as the geometric shape of the entire track, the stability of the power supply system, the current collection performance of the contact network, and the coverage range of communication signals. A massive amount of operating data will be collected to ensure that all indicators are fully met and all subsystems are matched and stable, meeting the safe operation standard of high-speed trains at 350 kilometers per hour. Stretching through Hebei, Shandong, and Henan provinces
The Xiongshang section of the Beijing Hong Kong high-speed railway is an important component of the national eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway network, the Beijing Hong Kong (Taiwan) corridor. The line runs through three provinces of Hebei, Shandong, and Henan, starting from Xiong'an Station in the north and ending at Shangqiu Station in the south, seamlessly connecting with the already operational Shanghe Hangzhou high-speed railway. The total length of the main line is 552 kilometers, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, of which the Henan section is 25 kilometers long. There are a total of 16 stations along the entire line, including Xiong'an, Renqiu West, Suning East, Shenzhou East, Hengshui South, Zaoqiang South, Qinghe West, Linqing East, Liaocheng West, Yanggu East, Taiqian East, Liangshan, Yuncheng, Heze East, Cao County West, and Shangqiu. Open up a new channel
After the opening and operation of the Xiongshang section, a cross shaped hub pattern will be formed between Shangqiu Station and the east-west Xulan high-speed railway, further consolidating the position of Shangqiu as a regional high-speed railway hub. The route will add a high-speed passenger transport channel from the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region to the Central Plains region, continuously improve the layout of China's regional high-speed railway network, significantly shorten the spatial and temporal distance between the Beijing Tianjin Hebei urban agglomeration and the Central Plains urban agglomeration, accelerate the efficient circulation of production factors such as talent, technology, and capital along the route, and provide important transportation support for Xiong'an New Area to undertake non capital function evacuation.Editor/Yang Meiling
