Overview of existing expressway

The existing expressway is part of G15 Shenyang Haikou National Expressway. The project starts from Qingling, Linhai City, passes through Linhaiyang, Huangyan Xicheng, Yuanqiao, Gaoqiao and Wenling Daxi, and ends at Huwu Street, Yueqing City. The starting and ending points of the operation are K1632+708 ～ K1672+683, with a total length of 40.2 kilometers. The main line of the whole line adopts the standard construction of four lane fully closed and full grade separation expressway in hilly area, and the design driving speed is 100km/h.

The construction of the existing expressway was commenced in October 1994, completed and opened to traffic in December 1999, and completed and accepted in December 2003. There is one interchange of the existing hub, which is a Shuiyang hub; Generally, there are 4 interchanges, which are adjacent to Hainan, Taizhou, Taizhou South and Wenling West; One hydroproject under construction is Daxi hydroproject.

Overview of reconstruction and expansion projects

The project starts from the interchange near Hainan, starting at K42+800. The route is widened on both sides of the main line of the interchange near Hainan, and the interchange near Hainan is reconstructed. After passing through Qingtantou Village, it goes through the Jintai Railway. Three lane tunnels are widened along both sides of Mazongling Tunnel, and viaducts are used to span the existing Shuiyang hub. The route is arranged on both sides of the subgrade in the form of viaducts. The viaducts are landed in Shiniu Village, Yanjiang Town and merged into a whole subgrade, The two sides of Huangtuling Tunnel are originally expanded into two-way eight lane tunnels. The entrance of the tunnel enters Taizhou Interchange, and the two sides of the main line of the interchange are widened. Huangyan No.1 Viaduct is set to cross the Yongning River. The total length of the continuous viaduct is 14.5km from the north bank of the Yongning River to the downstream of Yuxiu Ling Reservoir, including Huangyan No.1 Viaduct, Nancheng Interchange Main Line Bridge, Huangyan No.2 Viaduct and Yuanqiao Interchange Main Line Bridge, Nancheng Interchange connects Jiucheng Avenue in Shiniudu Village, Huangyan, and Yuanqiao Interchange and Service Area is set up from the abandoned original Yuanqiao Interchange to Xiuling Reservoir in the south. Tangling Tunnel is expanded into a two-way eight lane tunnel in situ in the south. After exiting the tunnel, it enters the Daxi Junction to connect with Wenling Interconnection Line. Wenling West Interchange is expanded in the south to transform it. The overpass on Deming West Road is changed into a underpass to enter Daxiling Tunnel in the south, The additional tunnels are built separately on both sides of the Daxiling Tunnel. The terminal point is located at the junction of Taizhou and Wenzhou, in the Daxiling Tunnel. The terminal stake is K82+951.511, and the total length of the route is 40.152 km.

The 1.216km Nancheng interconnection line and 5.542km Yuanqiao interconnection line will be constructed simultaneously. The estimated total investment is about 15.969 billion yuan, and the construction and installation cost is about 10.906 billion yuan.
