Recently, the bidding process for the franchise operator of the G95 Capital Region Ring Expressway project from the Tianjin Hebei border to Langfang has officially begun. This major transportation infrastructure project with an estimated total investment of 8.982 billion yuan will be promoted through a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model, with a franchise period of 29 years. After completion, it will significantly enhance the level of transportation connectivity in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.
The project is located in Langfang City, Hebei Province, with a total length of approximately 35.23 kilometers. It starts from Wuzhuang Village in Anci District, west of the Tianjin Hebei border, connects with the Tianjin section of the G95 Tanglang Expressway, passes through Anci District and Yongqing County to the west, and finally reaches the east of Zhiziying West Village in Gu'an Town, Gu'an County, connecting with the Langfang section of the G95 Langzhuo Expressway. As an important project for the coordinated development of transportation integration in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, the project will construct a series of supporting projects including super large bridges and interchanges.
According to the Transportation Bureau of Langfang City, Hebei Province, the total newly added land area of the project is about 260.67 hectares, including 248.67 hectares for the main line and 12 hectares for the connecting line. After completion, the project will become an important channel connecting Tianjin and Gu'an County in Hebei Province, effectively alleviating existing traffic pressure and promoting economic and social development in the areas along the route.
In terms of franchise arrangements, the project will be divided into two stages: the early stage and construction period, and the operation period. The preliminary and construction period is a total of 4 years, including 1 year of preparation and 3 years of construction; The operation period is 25 years, and the winning bidder is responsible for project operation and maintenance. The final operation period shall be subject to the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government.
