Recently, under the Belt and Road cooperation initiative, CIMC Raffles, China Railway Construction, and Zhongjiang International have adhered to the cooperation concept of extensive consultation, joint construction and shared benefits, actively fulfilled their corporate social responsibilities, expanded overseas markets along the Belt and Road, and newly signed a number of overseas infrastructure projects , involving the fields of material manufacturing, transportation, and people's livelihood infrastructure construction.

Sino-French nuclear energy signed a French material research and development project

Recently, the 6th Sino-French Nuclear Energy Technology Innovation Symposium was successfully held in Paris, France. Cao Shudong, deputy general manager of China National Nuclear Corporation, and SALHA Bernard, senior vice president and chief technology officer of EDF, attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the progress of the overall cooperation between the two parties over the past years, and conducted in-depth discussions and prospects for the next step of cooperation.

Sino-French nuclear energy cooperation is an important part of the strategic cooperation between China and France. Over the past 40 years, the two sides have continuously deepened cooperation and achieved a series of important results. Since then, the two sides have established a mechanism for regularly holding seminars on nuclear energy technology innovation every year. At present, the cooperation between the two parties in the fields of serious accidents, additive manufacturing and non-metallic materials research and development has achieved substantial progress and phased results. At this meeting, the two parties successfully signed a cooperation agreement on the second phase of the additive manufacturing project and the aging project of non-metallic materials.

2023 marks the 40th anniversary of Sino-French nuclear energy cooperation. The two sides pointed out that under the background that the two governments attach great importance to the safe and orderly development of nuclear energy, the prospects for cooperation in the field of nuclear energy technology innovation will be even broader. During the visit, the CNNC delegation also visited and investigated the non-metallic material aging center of EDF, the Material Aging Institute (MAI), the hydrogen energy comprehensive test bench, the additive manufacturing test bench, etc.

CRBC wins bid for Senegal landfill project

Recently, CRBC received the bid winning notice for the first phase of the Mbeubeus landfill renovation project in Senegal. This project is one of the key projects of Senegal's "Zero Garbage" program. The project owner is the Senegal Solid Waste Economic and Comprehensive Management Improvement Project of the Senegalese Ministry of Urbanization, Housing and Public Health.

The main contents of the project are on-site garbage transfer and replacement, geotextile waterproof treatment, site improvement in the entrance area, construction of drainage facilities, asphalt road paving, landscape greening and lighting, etc., with a construction period of 15 months.

The Mbebes landfill is one of the largest open-air garbage dumps in the world. It is located in the northeast suburb of Dakar, Senegal. It covers an area of about 114 hectares, which is equivalent to the size of nearly 200 football fields. Since its opening in 1968, the Mbebes landfill has received all kinds of garbage from the capital every day. The current garbage accumulation is about 11 million tons, or about 39 million cubic meters.

CRBC Wins the Bid for Davao Ring Road Project in the Philippines

Recently, CRBC received the notice of winning the bid for the II-2 project of the Davao Ring Road Section 2 (North Section) in the Philippines. The owner of the project is the Philippine Department of Public Works and Public Works, and the project is funded by the Philippine government. The project is located in the suburbs of Davao City, with a total length of 2.34 kilometers. The main workload includes 7 line bridges, 3 flyover bridges, culverts, earthwork, roadbed and pavement, etc. After the completion of the project, it can effectively alleviate the traffic congestion in Davao City, which is of great significance to the local economic development.Editor/Ma Xue
