On April 27, 2023, the "Announcement on the Pre-qualification of the Baoshan-Ruili Section of the Newly-built Dali-Ruili Railway, Station Houses, Production and Living Housing and Related Project Construction Total Price Contracting Bidding" was released. Construction of seven new station buildings on the Baoshan-Ruili section of the Dali-Rui Railway is about to start construction and is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2026.

Project Overview

Construction site: The newly-built Dali-Ruili Railway is located in the western part of Yunnan Province. It starts from Dali Station, the terminal point of the vast railway in the east, and passes through Yangbi, Yongping, Baoshan, Longling, Mangshi and Ruili in the west.

Construction scale: The initial approval of Darui Railway has a total investment of 22.219 billion yuan, and the length of the main line is 330.103 kilometers.
