The starting point of the Jingmen section of the Suizhou Jingmen Expressway is located on the east side of Yangfan Village, Zhangji Town, Zhongxiang City, Jingmen, at the junction of Linchang and Suijing cities. It connects the existing Suizhou section of the Suijing Expressway, passes through Zhongxiang and Dongbao, and ends in Zhanghe Town, Zhanghe New District. It connects the Jingsha section of the under construction Jingjian Expressway with the Shanghai Chengdu Expressway, with a total length of 113.9 kilometers.

The main line is constructed according to the high-speed standard of 120 kilometers per hour, with the first 41.9 kilometers being a two-way four lane road and a roadbed width of 26.5 meters; The remaining 72 kilometers will adopt a two-way six lane road with a roadbed of 34 meters. It is also equipped with an aviation road interconnection connecting line, which is a first-class highway with a speed of 80km/h, two-way four lane, 25.5m subgrade, and a total length of 2.4km.

The project plans to construct 79 bridges of various types, including 8 super major bridges, 69 major bridges, 2 medium bridges, and 5.5 tunnels, accounting for 42.21% of the total; Supporting 9 interchanges, 6 toll stations, 2 service areas and maintenance work areas, and 1 monitoring sub center each. The total estimated investment for the project is 16.0468 billion yuan, and the final construction scale and investment amount shall be subject to the official approval documents.
