On January 26, Shenzhen Energy Shanwei Red Bay Six offshore wind power project was officially approved by Shanwei City Development and Reform Bureau. This is the first offshore wind power project of Shenzhen Energy, which is developed and operated by its subsidiary Shenneng Marine Energy Company.
Shanwei Honghaiwan 6 offshore Wind Power Project is located in the south sea area of Shanwei Port, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. The site area is about 62km2, the water depth of the wind farm site is between 39m~45m, and the nearest distance from the land is about 28.4km. The planned installed capacity is 500MW, and 36 14MW offshore wind turbines are planned to be installed. The annual design power generation is about 1.75 billion KWH. The static investment of the project is 484.237 million yuan, and the dynamic investment is 4923.72 million yuan.

The project has been launched in December 2023 project feasibility stage technical consulting and special report service tender, the winner is China Energy Construction Group Guangdong Electric Power Design and Research Institute Co., LTD.
In the next step, Shenneng Marine Energy Company will base on the development strategy of Guangdong Ocean Strong Province and Shenzhen Energy Sea Breeze, actively promote the preliminary work related to the project, ensure the implementation of construction within the year, and make positive contributions to optimizing the industrial structure layout of the Group and cultivating and expanding strategic emerging businesses!
It is understood that this is the fourth approved offshore wind power project in the 7GW offshore wind power competition project in Guangdong Province in 2023. Previously, Shanwei Red Bay three offshore wind power project, Shanwei Red Bay five offshore wind power project and Huadian Yangjiang Sanshan Island six offshore project have been approved, and their planned installed capacity is 500MW.
