The footsteps of the Spring Festival are getting closer and closer, and the construction site of the Jinchuan Hydropower Station project department of the Hefei branch is still very busy. The excavation and support of the spillway, concrete pouring, and filling of the secondary dam area are being carried out in full swing.

The Jinchuan Hydropower Station, located in the upper reaches of the Dadu River in Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is the sixth cascade power station planned for the main stream of the Dadu River. The dam type is a concrete face rockfill dam, with a maximum height of 112 meters. The dam body is located on a deep covering layer with a maximum depth of 65 meters. Faced with such a difficult task, the Jinchuan Hydropower Station project department has demonstrated a tenacious spirit of hard work.

The slopes of the spillway and ecological spillway are steep and have harsh geological conditions, resulting in a large amount of excavation support and concrete pouring work, making it difficult. However, the project team was not intimidated by these difficulties. They refine the technical plan, organize a special meeting on concrete pouring, refine measures, clarify responsibilities, and ensure that all work steadily progresses after the concrete is transferred.

In order to strengthen the promotion of on-site work and refine progress management, the Jinchuan project department has established a production command center structure with the deputy production manager, safety director, and quality deputy chief engineer as commanders, corresponding department heads as deputy commanders, and more than 10 management personnel as on-site specialists. They steadily promote project construction through reasonable control, effective incentives, sufficient resources, and necessary technical measures.

At present, the excavation and support work for the spillway has come to an end, and the project department will make every effort to organize the subsequent concrete pouring construction. Under the guidance of the group's sixteen character policy, all members of the Jinchuan project department continuously strengthen their awareness of safety and quality, and implement a comprehensive safety and quality control system that is coordinated by the project department, department heads, and on-site supervisors.
