Anhui Taihu (Tianguang) Pumped Storage Power Station has been included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" key implementation projects of the "Pumped Storage Medium and Long-term Development Plan (2021-2035)". The power station is located in Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is a daily regulated pumped storage power station. It is initially planned to have an installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts. It will install four reversible hydroelectric generator units with a single capacity of 300MW. It is determined to be a first-class large (Ⅰ) based on the installed capacity. ) type hydropower station project. The power station hub building mainly consists of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water transmission system, underground factory building and switch station and other buildings. According to the pre-feasibility study report of this project, it is initially planned that the normal water storage level of the upper reservoir is 579.00m, the dead water level is 550.00m, the regulated storage capacity is 10.57 million m3, and the maximum dam height is 91m; the normal water storage level of the lower reservoir is 199m, and the dead water level is 169m. The regulated storage capacity is 10.31 million m3, and the maximum dam height is 85m; the total length of the water delivery system is about 3171.70m, the rated water head is 369m, the power station distance-to-height ratio is 7.45, and the installed capacity has continuous full power hours of about 7 hours.
