The first power transmission line of the Bangladesh State Grid Upgrade and Renovation Project, which was constructed by Chinese companies, officially started on the 8th, symbolizing a significant enhancement of the power grid transmission capacity in the Rajshahi region of northwestern Bangladesh. This project involves the construction, expansion, upgrading, and renovation of approximately 99 substations and approximately 1000 kilometers of transmission lines managed by the State Grid Corporation of Bangladesh. The Export Import Bank of China has provided preferential buyer credit support for this project.
