Recently, Hanzhong Development and Reform Commission released the "Hanzhong Railway Terminal General Plan Revision Plan and the Publicity of Single Source Procurement Method for Hanzhong Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area High speed Railway Procurement Plan", and proposed to determine China Railway Economic Planning Research Institute Co., Ltd. as the unit for the preparation of the plan, with a project budget of 1.8 million yuan.

Project Overview

The planned Hanzhong Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area High speed Railway Project starts from Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, passes through Mianxian County, Lueyang County, Kang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, Wudu District to Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and connects Xining Chengdu Railway, with a total length of 280 kilometers.

After completion, it can form a new passenger transportation channel connecting the central and eastern regions of China to western Sichuan, Qinghai, and beyond, and create an important transportation trunk connecting the Dajiuzhai tourism circle, northwest ecological experience, Shannan landscape culture and other characteristic tourism resources.

This project will further improve the railway network in the western region, narrow the transportation gap with coastal areas, and promote economic development in the western region. As the core area of the project, Hanzhong City will take on important responsibilities. The project will pass through cities such as Hanzhong, Mian County, and Lueyang County, and will have a huge driving effect on the local economy and transportation development.Editor/Zhao E
