On the morning of March 8, the sun was shining, and Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province ushered in the construction ceremony of an important green energy project - 150MW/300MWh independent energy storage power station project. This is not only a major promotion of the local green energy cause, but also a strong supplement to the development layout of new energy in Guangdong Province and even the whole country.

Guzhen Town 150MW/300MWh independent energy storage power station project, as one of the eight electrochemical independent energy storage power station projects approved by the Energy Bureau of Guangdong Province, the first phase of the project covers an area of 29.16 mu (19,438 square meters), the scale is large and remarkable. The construction of the project aims to enhance the flexibility and stability of the power grid, effectively relieve the pressure of power supply during peak hours by storing and releasing electric energy, and provide stable and reliable power security for residents and enterprises in the local and surrounding areas.

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the project, a 110kV booster station has been built, which will provide a strong power transmission capacity for the power station. The nominal capacity of this project is 100MW/200MWh, which means that the power station will have a strong energy storage capacity and provide strong support for the local power grid.

It is worth mentioning that the total investment of the project has reached about 400 million yuan, which fully shows the importance and support of Guangdong Province and Zhongshan City to the new energy industry. It is expected that after the completion of the project, the annual discharge will exceed 120 million degrees, which will inject a strong green impetus into the local economic development.

The construction of the Guzhen 150MW/300MWh independent energy storage power station project will not only improve the green level of the local energy structure, but also set a new benchmark for the development of clean energy in Guangdong Province and even the whole country.
