On March 25, Longyuan Power Qinghai Company was approved by the Haixi Autonomous State Energy Bureau, and its 500 MW wind power project officially entered the construction stage. The achievement of this important milestone not only laid a solid foundation for the long-term development of the company, but also injected new vitality into the green energy cause of Qinghai province and even the whole country.

The project is located in Manya City, Haixi Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, which has a vast territory and extremely rich wind resources, providing unique natural conditions for the construction of wind power projects. At the same time, the construction conditions in this area are also very convenient, creating favorable conditions for the smooth implementation of the project.

According to the plan, the total installed capacity of the project will reach 500 MW, when 80 wind turbines with a capacity of 6.25 MW will be installed. These wind turbines will make full use of the abundant local wind energy resources and convert them into clean electric energy, providing a strong guarantee for the power supply of the local and surrounding areas.

In addition, the project will also build a new 330 kV booster station and support the construction of 75 MW /150 MWH energy storage system. This innovative initiative will enable the close coupling and complementarity of different power generation methods, further improving the proportion of nighttime output and the overall power quality, ensuring a stable supply and efficient use of power.

It is worth mentioning that after the project is completed and put into operation, the annual power generation is expected to reach a staggering 1.162 billion KWH. This will not only greatly meet the electricity demand of the local and surrounding areas, but also make a great contribution to energy conservation and emission reduction. It is estimated that 348,800 tons of standard coal can be saved every year, and 905,300 tons of carbon dioxide, 148.78 tons of sulfur dioxide and 29.75 tons of dust can be reduced. This result will not only help improve local air quality, but will also have a positive impact on global climate change.
