On the morning of March 26, 2024, the Ruoqiang New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Base project of Dongfang Electric officially started construction amidst widespread attention. The launch of this major project marks a solid step for Ruoqiang County in the field of new energy equipment manufacturing. This not only means that the new energy equipment manufacturing industry in Ruoqiang County has achieved a full industry chain layout of the main components of wind turbines, but also indicates that the county's new energy equipment production and manufacturing capacity will be significantly improved, and the effectiveness of industrial cluster development will be more significant.

It is reported that the Dongfang Electric Ruoqiang New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Base project aims to build a modern high-end energy equipment zero carbon industrial park, and follows the principle of overall planning and step-by-step implementation for phased construction. The total investment of the first phase of the project is as high as 100 million yuan, covering an area of 232.2 acres and a building area of 33550 square meters. The construction of a new blade production workshop and ancillary facilities has laid a solid foundation for the future production of new energy equipment.

Qiu Hongbin, Deputy General Manager of Xinjiang Dongfang Wind Power New Energy Co., Ltd., stated that the construction of the project will create more than 400 job opportunities and produce 300 sets of wind turbine blades annually. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of October this year. The completion and operation of the project will effectively promote the high-quality development of the new energy industry in Ruoqiang County, injecting new vitality into the county's socio-economic development.

Jiang Fa, Deputy Director of the Commerce and Industry Bureau of Ruoqiang County, also emphasized that the county and district governments will fully provide service guarantees for the entire process of project construction, actively solve difficulties encountered in project construction and enterprise development, and ensure that the project can be completed on schedule. After the project is put into operation, the entire industry chain of wind turbine equipment manufacturing in Ruoqiang County will be further improved, providing strong support for building a new energy base with a capacity of tens of millions of kilowatts.

In recent years, Ruoqiang County has actively promoted the scale and industrialization development of new energy by relying on its rich wind, solar, hydro, and land resources. In the future, Ruoqiang County will further increase the promotion of various forms of comprehensive utilization of new energy, promote the expansion, improvement, and chain extension of the new energy industry, and continue to develop the energy equipment manufacturing industry.
