On March 29, 2024, Sanhang Xiang 'an, China's first 5,000-ton shift-type boom dynamic positioning crane invested by the Third Navigation Bureau of China Communications, was successfully launched in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, which marked that the ship has officially entered the important stage of boom installation and equipment commissioning, laying a solid foundation for the smooth operation of the ship.

In the face of the development trend of far-reaching oceanization and large-scale unit in the offshore wind farm area, Sanhang Xiang 'an integrates today's advanced technology achievements and intelligent means, and is the first large amplitude scraper crane with DP dynamic positioning capability in China, which can realize the needs of anchorage positioning and dynamic positioning lifting operations in the far-reaching sea, and has broad market application prospects.

Sanhang Xiang 'an is 178 meters long, 48 meters wide and 13.5 meters deep. A large Marine engineering crane with a lifting capacity of 5000 tons is set up at the stern of the ship, which adopts the type of single boom and double hook. The lifting capacity of the main hook is 5000 tons, the maximum width of the lifting span is 95 meters, and the lifting height can reach 133 meters on the deck. The lifting capacity of the auxiliary hook is 1200 tons, the maximum width of the lifting span is 109 meters, and the lifting height can reach 150 meters on the deck, which is equivalent to the height of 51 stories. The outstanding lifting capacity makes it a leading edge in the industry in China in the field of offshore wind power pile foundation construction, large-scale boost station hoisting, large-scale offshore component installation and far-reaching sea wind farm construction.

In order to make the crane ship stable in the far-reaching sea area with complex sea conditions, Sanhang Xiang 'an is equipped with 3 2500kW full rotary electric main thrusters in the stern and 2 3000kW side thrusters in the bow, and is equipped with 6 anchor positioning system. By using the dual mode of dynamic positioning system + anchoring system, large offshore components are hoisted. Effectively improve the efficiency of crane during the precious window period.

As a new generation of environmental protection, energy saving and intelligent crane, Sanhang Xiangan conforms to the development trend of green and intelligent offshore engineering ships. The intelligent motor monitoring system designed and applied can greatly improve the utilization rate of energy. The off-line insulation monitoring technology adopted further improves the safety factor of the whole ship through intelligent monitoring of important equipment.

The ship-shore integrated information management system configured on the ship can realize the intelligent management of the whole ship, integrating multiple functions such as viewing ship position, alarm information of important equipment, video surveillance, energy efficiency management, spare parts and certificate information, personnel and oil product information management, and realizing a platform for ship and shore-based operation management.

The successful launch of Sanhang Xiang 'an marks another solid step in the development of offshore wind power by the Third Aviation Bureau of China Communications. The delivery of the vessel will not only consolidate the position of the three aviation Administration as a leading enterprise in offshore wind power construction, but also provide a strong equipment guarantee for promoting the construction of the modern offshore wind power industry chain of CCCC.
