A number of media comprehensive reports, in the face of the increasingly serious water shortage problem, the Cuban National Water Resources Institute is actively responding to the government's planning, committed to strengthening the construction of water infrastructure, in order to protect the basic needs of the people. Recently, a new batch of 25 pumping equipment invested by the Institute has been put in place, which will mainly be used to solve the problem of low water pressure and difficult water use for the Cuban people, and bring real benefits to the Cuban people.

According to the director of the institute, Rodrigues, this batch of newly introduced water pumping equipment will be distributed in various regions of Cuba as planned. Of these, 11 units will be installed in San Diego to meet the growing water needs of the local population. Another six units will be installed in Holgua de la Huaca to provide stable and reliable water pressure to residents in the area. In the capital Havana, four devices will be installed to improve water access for local residents. In addition, four more units will be installed in Artemisa, Mayabek, Bialara and SAN Spiritus to ensure that people in these areas also have access to adequate water resources.

President Rodriguez further pointed out that about 490,000 people in Cuba are affected by the lack of water pumping equipment, and their daily lives are greatly disturbed. Since the introduction of the new equipment, the number of people affected has dropped significantly, which fully proves the importance of water pumping equipment for improving people's livelihood. More equipment is currently in transit, and when it is fully installed, the affected situation will continue to improve and the quality of life of the Cuban people will be further improved.

President Rodriguez also stressed that the institute has drawn up a detailed installation plan. The first phase will focus on installing 270 water pumping units that are missing from the energy retrofit plan to ensure that water supply systems can operate normally. At the same time, 144 units of the second stage of the equipment have also begun to assemble in China, preparing for the subsequent installation work. These measures will strongly promote the further improvement of Cuba's water infrastructure and lay a solid foundation for Cuba's sustainable development.

The positive actions of the Cuban National Institute of Water Resources have been highly appreciated by the government and all sectors of society. The government said it would continue to increase investment in water infrastructure to provide better living conditions for the people. At the same time, all sectors of society have expressed their support for the work of the Institute and jointly contribute to the improvement of the water situation in Cuba. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
