On April 15, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony of the 50-MW affordable wind power project in Fucheng Township, Huichang County, the 50-MW affordable wind power project in Junmenling Town, Huichang County, and the 20-MW distributed wind power project in Fucheng Township, Huichang County was held in Fucheng Township. County leader Yin Jun attended the ceremony and announced the start of the project. Representatives of the project general contractor, representatives of the construction party, relevant functional departments and township leaders attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The Fucheng Township 50MW affordable wind power project in Huichang County and the Fucheng Township 20MW distributed wind power project in Huichang County are located on the ridge near Xiaosha Village, Fucheng Township. The total installed capacity is 70MW, the annual average utilization hours are 2001.83h, and the on-grid power generation is 1.401 Yidu, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 2,150 tons.

The 50MW Affordable Wind Power Project in Junmenling Town, Huichang County is located on the ridge in the southwest of Junmenling Town. It has an installed capacity of 50MW, an average annual utilization hour of 2106.27h, an on-grid power generation of 105.3 million kWh, and a carbon emission reduction of approximately 1,600 Ton.

It is understood that the total investment in the three projects is approximately 744.924 million yuan. The construction of the project is of great significance in promoting the transformation and upgrading of Huichang's industry, improving people's livelihood and well-being, and cultivating new development momentum. It will inject stronger impetus and provide stronger support for the high-quality economic and social development of Huichang County. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will generate tax revenue of approximately 6 million yuan for the local area every year, and will also create more job opportunities for the local area.
