On March 27, 2024, the construction of the hydraulic main structure of the No. 3 berth of the Phase I project of Peru's Chankai Port was successfully completed. Project No. 3 and No.4 berths are professional container berths with a total length of 860 meters, a hydraulic structure of 40.4 meters wide and a water depth of 17.8 meters at the front. They adopt high pile beam and plate structure and are designed according to the maximum berthing of 200,000-ton container ships. As an important infrastructure for the landing of large port machinery equipment shore bridge and automated rail crane, the completion of the hydraulic main body is of milestone significance, providing a solid foundation and guarantee for Qiankai Port to welcome the first batch of large port machinery equipment to the port.
The construction process of berthing No. 3 of the Phase I project of Chankai Port in Peru: On April 4, 2022, the first steel pipe pile was laid, which lasted nearly 2 years to complete the construction of the wharf hydraulic structure.
During the period, in the face of adverse factors such as poor sea conditions and construction interference during the winter non-window period, the COSCO Shipping Port project team actively optimized the following construction plans:
Through the innovative application of mobile pile driving platform, the technical problem of precise positioning of pile driving in long period wave sea area is solved.
Promote the application of standard modular plastic formwork, and realize the rapid formation of formwork assembly and disassembly, reinforcement binding, and concrete pouring.
By improving the standardized construction processes such as pile sinking, dredging, stone ripening between piles, and surface layer construction, the construction efficiency is improved, the construction progress is guaranteed, and the project is promoted as planned.
