On April 17, Zhangzhou City held the petrochemical industry investment promotion meeting of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in Nanjing, and sought cooperation and development with the representatives of entrepreneurs and industry elites in the petrochemical field of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The promotion meeting signed 2 petrochemical strategic cooperation framework agreements, 20 industrial investment projects with a total investment of 48.313 billion yuan, and 5 supply chain trade projects with an annual trade volume of 33.35 billion yuan.

It is worth mentioning that among the industrial investment projects, there are 2 projects with an investment of more than 10 billion yuan, respectively, the Gulei Development Zone Minnan offshore wind Power Base B-2 area offshore wind farm project and Jiulongjiang Group and Xuyang Petrochemical industry cooperation project.

On April 11, the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the Notice on the Publicity of Renewable Energy Development Pilot Demonstration Projects. The "Notice" shows that the list of renewable energy development pilot demonstration projects in Fujian Province includes three offshore wind power projects, namely Lianjiang Offshore Wind Farm, Zhangpu Liuao Offshore Wind Farm Phase II project, South Fujian Offshore wind Power Base B-2 area project, with a total installed capacity of 2,700 MW.

The B-2 area project of Minnan Offshore Wind Power Base is located in the offshore sea of Fujian Province, with an estimated total capacity of 1.6 million kilowatts, which is another large offshore wind power base resource acquired by CNOOC after Hainan obtained 1.5 million kilowatts of offshore wind power resources.
