According to the announcement, Datang International has reviewed and passed the "Proposal on the investment and construction of nine new energy projects such as Shantou Nanao Lemen I offshore wind power expansion Project" at its board of directors. This decision means that Datang Power Generation will actively promote the investment and construction of a number of new energy projects such as Shantou Nanao Lemen I offshore wind power expansion project.

Shantou Nanao Lemen I offshore wind power expansion project is located in the east of Shantou city, south of Nanao County near the Lemen Islands, the nearest distance from the north of Nanao Island about 11.5km, from the west of Shantou land about 18km, the site planning area of about 38k square meters. The total installed capacity of the project is 354MW, and it is planned to deploy 26×13MW+1x16MW wind turbines, while supporting the construction of a 220kV offshore booster station and an onshore switch station.

The project has started the bidding process, China Energy Construction Group Guangdong Electric Power Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. will undertake the survey and design responsibility; The wind turbine and its auxiliary equipment are provided by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., LTD. The construction and installation project of the offshore riser station was successfully won by CNPC Offshore Engineering Co., LTD. Tianjin Port & Shipping Engineering Co., Ltd. and CCCC Third Shipping Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. won the first and second bidding sections of the foundation construction and installation of the offshore fan and booster station of the project respectively; The 220kV and 66kV submarine photoelectric composite cables and accessories required by the project will be supplied by Shanghai Qifan Cable Co., LTD.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
