The signing ceremony for the Shanghai Lingang Wind Power Subsea Data Center project was held in Shanghai. CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. signed an ecological cooperation agreement with Shanghai Hailan Cloud Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shenneng Group, Shanghai Telecom and other enterprises, marking the official landing of the Lingang Subsea Data Center and supporting industry empowerment platform project.

The total investment of the project is 1.6 billion yuan, with a construction scale of 24MW, to be implemented in two phases. The first phase demonstration project has a capacity of 2.3MW, with a designed PUE not exceeding 1.15 and a green power supply rate exceeding 97%. It has been successfully selected for the National Development and Reform Commission's "List of Advanced Green and Low Carbon Technology Demonstration Projects (Second Batch)". CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. will undertake the demonstration project EPCI engineering, including the reconstruction of the onshore centralized control center, the construction of a new vertical data cabin, and the laying of submarine cables.

After completion, the project will become the world's first underwater data center that directly utilizes offshore wind power, achieving low-carbon computing power through ocean cooling and green power direct supply, building a "land to sea computing" model, innovating the "wind computing collaboration" mode to absorb offshore wind power, and exploring cross-border data circulation mechanisms to help Shanghai's computing infrastructure achieve international cutting-edge levels of green development.
