Recently, the opening ceremony of the German ebm-papst Asia-Pacific R&D center and wind turbine manufacturing project was held grandly in the Weibei Industrial Park of the Economic Development Zone. Mayor Ye Niuping came to the site in person to announce the official start of this landmark project. ebm-papst Group, as a global leader in the field of fan and motor manufacturing, its products are widely used in automobiles, home appliances, drive technology and many other fields. The establishment of the Asia-Pacific R&D center and wind turbine manufacturing project in Xi'an not only demonstrates the company's in-depth layout and strategic emphasis on the Chinese market, but also reflects the high degree of fit and close cooperation with Xi'an in industrial development.

The project covers an area of 62 acres, with a total construction area of 27,000 square meters, and the estimated construction period is 15 months. The project will build a new production workshop, office and R&D center, becoming an important expansion for ebm-papst on the basis of its original production capacity of 6 million fans and motors. By introducing advanced foreign product technology and production lines, the project will be dedicated to developing and producing innovative products that are more in line with the needs of the Chinese market.

After the completion of the project, the annual output value of ebm-papst's Xi'an production base is expected to reach 2 billion yuan, making it expected to become the group's largest single production base in the world. This will not only effectively promote the manufacturing upgrade and industrial development of Xi'an, but also inject strong impetus into the economic growth of Xi'an and the entire region.
