CCCC Aerospace Administration recently announced that its large-scale dredging and reclamation project in the northern sea outside the Saemangeum Levee in Jeollabuk-do, southwest Korea, has officially started. This project marks another important progress of CCCC Aerospace Engineering Co., Ltd. in the overseas dredging field, and also injects new vitality into the development of the Northeast Asian regional market.

The main construction content of this project focuses on channel dredging, blowing and filling, and its contracted work volume is as high as approximately 3.05 million square meters. The channel width in the dredging area reaches an astonishing 1,000 meters, and the designed excavation depth is as deep as -10.5 meters. This huge amount of work requires the construction team to have a high technical level and rich practical experience.

After the project is completed, it will have a profound impact on the construction of the Saemangeum Development Zone in South Korea.
