It was learned on May 13 that recently, petrochina Daqing Oilfield Lindian 1.6 million kW wind power generation project officially started construction, providing strong support for the century-old oilfield to improve the "new content" and "green content".

Lindian 1.6 million kW wind power generation project is located in Lindian County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is the company's current installed investment, the largest scale of the key project, divided into two phases of construction. The first phase of the project has a total installed capacity of 600 megawatts, which will provide 4.584 billion KWH of clean electricity per year, save 1.405 million tons of standard coal and reduce 3.5617 million tons of carbon dioxide.

Daqing region is a national second class wind energy, light energy enrichment area, the total installed capacity of new energy ranked first in Heilongjiang Province. As an important energy production base in China, Daqing Oilfield has incorporated new energy business into its main business development, taking a key step in the transformation and upgrading from a traditional oil and gas enterprise to a comprehensive modern energy company.

The start of construction of the 1.6 million kilowatt wind power generation project in Lindian is a major measure for Daqing Oilfield to help achieve the national "double carbon" goal, and also an important growth pole to promote the economic and social development of Heilongjiang Province, which will provide important support for Daqing Oilfield to build the first one million kilowatt self-absorbing clean energy demonstration base by the end of this year.
