Recently, Shenzhen Port Group and Beibu Gulf Port Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Nanning, Guangxi. Zhou Shaobo, Chairman of Beibu Gulf Port Group, Xiang Hong, Pan Xiaobin, Assistant General Manager Mo Nuu, Hu Chaoyang, Chairman of Shenzhen Port Group, Qiao Hongwei, Vice President of Shenzhen Port Group, attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, the two sides will take complementary advantages and win-win cooperation as the direction, give full play to the location advantages of Beibu Gulf Port connecting with ASEAN and radiating the southwest inland hinterland, and Shenzhen port connecting with Europe and the United States and other regions of the international shipping trunk channel advantages, and carry out efficient and pragmatic strategic cooperation in multiple fields such as container transportation, automobile and spare parts shipping, port and shipping logistics projects.

Beibu Gulf Port Group is the only public terminal investment operator in Guangxi coastal area. It has formed nine business segments: port, logistics, industry and trade, energy, cultural and tourism, construction, shipping lock, financial service and overseas investment. It is the main force in Guangxi to promote the construction of the new land-sea corridor in the West, the international gateway port of Beibu Gulf, the international hub port and the Xijiang Golden Waterway. And to build a "sea economy" spearhead.

Shenzhen Port Group is a world-class port industry group in Shenzhen City, deeply engaged in six industries of "port and shipping, ocean, logistics, energy, industrial and city development, and industrial finance", in which port and shipping industry has built a global route network by relying on 15 domestic and foreign port and shipping projects, 10 combined ports, 14 inland ports, and 33 sea and rail combined transport lines. It has formed a smart, green, networked, international and diversified layout.

The two sides will take this signing as an opportunity to further enhance the port's radiating role in regional economic development, continue to participate deeply in the construction of the "Belt and Road", consolidate and enhance the status of Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port and Shenzhen international hub port, and contribute more to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the construction of the new land-sea corridor in the West.
