On May 15, 2024, China Nengjian Construction Group successfully completed the lifting work of the No. 1 boiler steel frame of the 46 MW biomass power station project in Biouya, Cote d 'Ivoire.

The project, located in Abidjan Province, about 100 km east of Abidjan, is the largest biomass power plant project under construction in West Africa. It is expected that after the completion of the project, it will be able to produce 348 GW of clean electricity per year, which is of great significance for promoting the transformation of Cote d 'Ivoire's energy structure and ecological environmental protection.

During the construction and operation period, the project will not only create more than 1,000 full-time jobs, but also bring additional income to 12,000 palm growers, and strongly promote the improvement of local livelihood and economic development.

The progress of the project also means that the strength of Chinese enterprises in the field of clean energy construction overseas has been further improved. By participating in such projects, Chinese enterprises such as China NENG Construction have demonstrated their professional capabilities and experience in clean energy technology, project management and international cooperation, making positive contributions to the development of global clean energy.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
