Burkina Faso recently announced that it will invest US$156 million to build a key road. This move is regarded as an important pulse for the country's economic development. The construction of new roads will greatly contribute to the economic benefits of Burkina Faso, especially by connecting and upgrading the 131 kilometers of RN8 national road.
The RN8 national highway is an important transportation line in Burkina Faso. It connects many key cities such as Bobo Dioulasso, Orodarara, Mahon and Coloko, to Dulay, which borders neighboring Mali. Dasa. The construction of this new highway is expected to be completed within 12 to 16 months, which will greatly improve Burkina Faso's international transportation environment.
As part of the road infrastructure development plan, the construction of new roads is not limited to the RN8 national road itself. Many other roads around the Bobo Dioulasso area will also be upgraded and renovated, while road widening and maintenance work will also be carried out to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.
This project is an important next step in the upgrade of the transport link between the capital Ouagadougou and the second largest city Bobo-Dioulasso. Through this series of transport infrastructure investments, Burkina Faso is working to strengthen its internal and external transport connections to promote economic prosperity and social progress.Editor/Cheng Ting
