In the southeast of Zhengzhou Airport Area, a modern international dry port is accelerating its rise. At the Zhengzhou International Dry Port construction site, vehicles shuttled and machinery roared, creating a fiery construction scene.

"This is the new home of China-Europe trains. It is a concrete practice for our province to deeply integrate into the joint construction of the Belt and Road and create a high-level opening and cooperation platform. Deputy General Manager Kuang Shan said that the Xinzheng-International Land Port section of the dedicated railway line is currently accelerating the construction of roadbeds, bridges and culverts, and will be ready to open to traffic by the end of June.

The dedicated railway line that is about to be opened to traffic can realize the connection between the dry port and the Beijing-Guangzhou Line of the National Railway and open up the international dry port external channel. In the future, the section from the International Dry Port to Kaifeng will also be planned, and will be extended westward to the Zhengzhou Railway Hub Freight Southern Loop to form a parallel line from Kaifeng to the International Dry Port to Shangjie Longhai Railway; in the long term, the western section with the Sanyang Railway will be constructed The connecting line forms a second channel parallel to the Longhai Railway.

Zhengzhou International Dry Port has planned a west operation area and an east operation area. The west operation area is the new energy vehicle supply chain operation station and is positioned as the new energy vehicle supply chain service center; the east operation area is the China-Europe train assembly center railway station. Construction has started at the end of 2023, and the core functional area will be completed this year. Completed at the end of October. Kuang Shan explained to reporters: "The west operation area is only 1 kilometer away from the new energy vehicle factory. The entire vehicle can be driven directly to the station without the need for transportation by truck. This not only reduces transportation costs, but also greatly improves the efficiency of logistics operations. ”

As an important part of the "Ten Strategies", the "Advantage Rebuilding Strategy" is reflected in the planning of Zhengzhou International Dry Port. The planned area of the new site of Zhengzhou International Dry Port is about 50 square kilometers. It is laid out according to the organizational functions of "one port and seven districts". The first circle is the core functional area of the hub, the second circle is the logistics and trade functional area, and the third circle is Once completed, the industrial-city derivative functional zone will have the carrying capacity of China-Europe freight trains to ship “tens of thousands of tons” annually.

The giant steel dragon gallops freely, building a smooth road through mountains and seas. This is the only China-Europe freight train assembly center approved for construction in the central and eastern regions. It not only realizes the connection between inland and maritime routes, but also promotes interconnection between different regions and helps our province accelerate the pace of opening up to the outside world.

It is understood that in order to effectively promote project construction and enterprise services, the Zhengzhou Airport Area has set up a special work team to provide "tracking" and "nanny-style" services in terms of filing and approval, land acquisition and demolition, construction permits, etc., to comprehensively promote the Zhengzhou International Dry Port construction.

The China-Europe Railway Train (Zhengzhou) Assembly Center will be committed to building a large customs-railway integrated supervision area, undertaking the main functions of China-Europe freight train cargo assembly, customs clearance and train operation, and providing one-stop customs declaration, inspection, booking, collection and distribution. , storage and transportation functions to achieve seamless connection between inland areas and coastal ports.

What will the international dry port look like in the future? According to the plan, by 2025, a high-level international dry port core area will be built, with the capacity to operate 5,000 international trains per year and the operating capacity of 1 million commercial vehicles per year; by 2035, the scale of international train operations will be achieved. More than 12,000 trains per year, building a world-class international railway hub port with global influence.
