The Medan BRT project in Indonesia was designed by the Shanghai Construction Engineering Municipal Engineering Institute and supported by funding from the World Bank. It has officially started construction. The project has a total length of approximately 18.3km and covers the construction of rapid transit corridors, pedestrian bridges, intermediate stations, parking lots, and other construction contents. It is planned to build the first rapid public transportation system in Medan City through new energy vehicles and is expected to be completed by 2025.
