According to the latest plan, the new generation lithium metal solid-state battery project jointly built by Shenzhen Xinjie Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Jintan Economic Development Zone is expected to start construction in September this year. The project will be constructed in two phases, with a total planned production capacity of up to 5GWh. This figure has been significantly improved and almost doubled compared to the 2GWh production capacity the company originally planned to achieve in 2024. According to the official website of Xinjie Energy, the company has implemented 1GWh of production capacity since 2024 and delivered it to consumer customers in large quantities.
