In order to implement the investment driven development strategy, further cultivate and expand the electricity market in Central and Eastern Europe, and achieve the industrial layout of Northern International in the new energy field of Central and Eastern Europe, Northern International plans to invest in the construction and operation of the Komanye Mountain 125MWp photovoltaic project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an estimated total investment of 109.86 million euros.
The company plans to acquire Aurora Solar d.o.o. as the implementation entity of the project through its Hungarian subsidiary, responsible for the development, construction, and operation of the project after completion.
The Hungarian subsidiary invested 13 million euros in its own funds to acquire 80% equity of the project company. After completing the above-mentioned acquisition, both shareholders plan to increase their capital by 19.37 million euros in the same proportion, with the Hungarian subsidiary increasing its investment in the Bosnia and Herzegovina project company with its own funds of 15.5 million euros. The project company, after the capital increase, serves as the implementing entity and is engaged in the development and operation of the project.

The 125MWp photovoltaic project at Komanye Mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is being invested in this time, is located 2 kilometers northeast of Storac City in the state of Montenegro Neretva in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 90 kilometers away from the capital city Sarajevo. The installed capacity on the DC side of the project is 125MWp, and the total rated AC side capacity of this configuration plan is 105MW. In addition to purchasing and installing corresponding photovoltaic modules, a 220/20KV booster station will be constructed as a supporting facility. The land involved in this project mainly adopts a leasing model, renting 145 hectares of land owned by the original shareholders. It is predicted that the average annual equivalent full load hours during the operation period will be 1642 hours, and the average annual grid connected electricity will be 205 million kilowatt hours.
