On June 19, 2024, the 50MW wind power project in Wangpu Town, Qin'an County was officially launched. The project was carefully undertaken by Jiuquan New Energy Company of Sinohydro Fourth Bureau and successfully started at its base in Baiyin. This marks that the wind power project has officially entered the substantive construction stage.

The project is located in Wangpu Town, Qin'an County, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. The planned installed capacity is 50MW. It is expected to install 10 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5MW manufactured by Dongfang Electric. The total weight of each generator set is as high as 264.577 tons, the maximum diameter of the tower is 5.037 meters, and the total height of the entire tower is an astonishing 107.5 meters. This large-scale wind farm not only demonstrates China's advanced strength in the field of renewable energy technology, but also will bring clean and sustainable energy supply to the local area, and help green development and environmental protection.

By adopting advanced technologies and equipment, the project will effectively improve the efficiency and safety of energy supply, while reducing the emission of greenhouse gases and pollutants, and contribute to environmental protection and carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
